Beauty and The Beast Christmas Afternoon Tea

On Tuesday,  Luke and I went up to London to have a Beauty and The Beast themed afternoon tea at The Kensington Hotel.

It is fairly simple to get there from Victoria station, just two stops on the district line to South Kensington, then once you get to the tube station it is straight up the road.

The hotel is so incredibly posh, defiantly not somewhere I fit in lool but regardless the staff were all very nice and accommodating, we got there  about 15 minutes early and we didn't have to wait for our table at all.

Once sat down we chose our teas (I went for an Earl Grey) and they got brought straight over to us with our starters which were: a cheese soufflé, a roast venison yorkshire pudding and caviar in a chip cup. To be honest, it was not to my taste - I LOVED the cheese soufflé but the rest of it was just not for me.

Then the main afternoon tea came out. Mrs Potts had cream in her to put on the vanilla and rose jelly, there was also a chocolate and marshmallow cake, a chocolate

orange cake, Cogsworth chocolate mince pie, a selection of sandwiches and some iced baguettes. This was all very nice!

Unfortunately, it was not made clear when we booked it back in December that we had not paid for the tea, even though they took our card details, so at the end of the meal we got given a lovely £85 bill :))))) so if you're wanting to book please be aware of this.

It was a really wonderful experience and I would recommend to do it!

Afterwards we went and watched Wicked which was AMAZING as always, not really Luke's cup of tea but I loved it.
